Emergency Medical Record (EMR)

Who should use Rescue Me / Lifesaver?

Rescue Me / Lifesaver is a vital resource for people with major illnesses, drug allergies, and long-term medications, the elderly, children, military personnel and by anybody needing identifying information and/or  medical history availability. This includes, joggers, drivers, travelers, outdoor activities, sports men/  women, the military. Soldiers especially have a need for this device / software suite. For all of the above it could just mean the the difference between life an death.

Mothers can use it to store their children's pictures, fingerprints and other Amber Alert pertinent information and supply this information to the law enforcement agencies instantaneously. It can act as their electronic voice should they ever be unable to communicate in an emergency.

Rescue Me / Lifesaver is also very useful for anyone intending to travel overseas as the medical data, health insurance and contact information contained in the Personal Medical History Records are available in the event of an emergency.

What sets Rescue Me / Lifesaver apart from other medical record storage services?

Unlike other devices, it is so small that it can easily be worn on a necklace, without bulging clothing, or hitting the bearer in the face during activities. It can be put into the wallet, or an a key chain.

This makes it available on the person when needed, instead of laying around the house because it "just gets in the way..."

It is less than 1/8 of an inch high, less than 4/8 inch wide, less than 1 2/8 inch long and stores GigaBytes (that's billions, or thousands of millions) letters. See RescueMe for a detailed description of the USB drive containing LifeSaver software.

It makes the lifesaving information instantly available, requiring no other software, within a matter of seconds.

No lengthy phone calls and/or operator errors or retrieval of the wrong information. No reoccurring fees to use. Unlike other software, it does NOT reside on the owner's computer, but is completely self-contained and ALL the necessary life saving information is available to EMT's and doctors. It auto-starts after insertion and just one click, or key press is necessary to display the EMR. See Lifesaver for a more detailed description.

It also lets the owner print out as many Medical ID cards as he/she wants to have, for the wallet, the clove compartment, purse etc. Unlike others, it does NOT need special computer knowledge to use it. If the user can click a button, he/she is able to use it. HELP overlays the current screen in use ( a world's first), making navigation through other help windows (and getting lost in them) obsolete. It shows on top of the information currently being worked on and a manual is not even necessary.

It also contains links to the newest in medical developments ready to read with just a click of a button.

Rescue Me / Lifesaver's advantage lies in it's ability to act fast in the event of an emergency. It allows attending physicians easy access to the owner's Personal Medical History Record. In an emergency, the Rescue Me / Lifesaver device serves as the patient's medical history and vital medical information is readily available. This saves valuable time in a life threatening situation. LifeSaver was developed with the help Paramedics and their needs to better assist you in case of a medical emergency.

Rescue Me / Lifesaver's Personal Medical History Records are input by their owners, allowing them to strike the appropriate balance between their privacy preference and the physician's need to know.
