The My Life Diary comes on its own micro-sized personal USB drive with plenty of storage, up to 2 Gigabytes! It has no separate Help windows popping up. It won't be running you through the hoops, from help window to help window, to the point that you forgot what you were looking for to start with. Every screen with a question mark on it will overlay the Help right over your own data! No guessing, no mistakes (see below) Furthermore, all items of importance have tool tips which help along the way. You don't need to be a computer wizard to use this software! Below is an example of the help overlaying the opening screen when Help is selected. You don't have to search through another window to figure out what to do, just check the help, view it and and click again to dismiss the help when done... | |||

Main Entry Screen: | |||

Above: This is the Main Entry screen of your diary, it can be resized any way you like it. It lets you enter a day at a time and as much information as you want to. You are not limited to a certain amount of text per day... You can change the font size, the font itself, the color, left, right, center a paragraph, insert an image, even a music or recorded sound file (though they would not print out, of course) You can even view and print charts by clicking the overview button.... Furthermore you can drag and drop almost anything you have on your system into the text area. If it is a sound file it will play when you double click it, if it is another type of file, it will call up the program that created it. This feature is there for your convenience, but since this is a Diary, not a multimedia file storage program, you'd be better off leaving multimedia and other files with their own programs; they will only consume unnecessary space and do not print anyway... Below: Most items also have tooltips helping you along without having to click anything at all ! However, if you do need help, it's always there, right at your fingertips. Just click the Question Mark and it overlays your current screen. One more click on the help button, and its gone again,,, | |||

Insert an Image pop-up window: | |||

If you clicked the "Insert Photo" button and selected a picture to insert, the above window opens. There, the picture you selected is shown resized in 3 different sizes. If you select one of them it gets inserted into your text at the current cursor position. These are the common sizes used and they save you space. However you can also zoom into the image and drag it around until you find the position you like and then insert this new image. | |||
Charting: 3D Pie Chart | |||

You can get an instant overview of how your life is going by clicking the "Overview" button. The 3D semitransparent chart can be rotated in space and zoomed into and out of using the mouse. Once you found a look you like, right click to print the chart, or to save it as a picture. It shows the overall emotional conditions of your life. The longer you keep your diary, the more informative this gets. You might just be surprised about how things are going and even change a few things. | |||
